Wine Review: Over the last 2 vintages, I have recommended Querciabella’s Chianti Classico’s. Last week I had the chance to try their 2004 Super Tuscan. Wow, what a nice wine. This dark ruby colored wine opens with a very pleasant cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine really shines. It is very very smooth and silky. It has a very dry mouthfeel and the flavor profile is delicious dusty black cherry. The finish is quite dry and shows soft noticeable tannins that linger for some time. This elegant wine is steak ready now but will certainly perform well over time. If you need to buy a gift or impress someone who likes Italian wine, this wine will do the trick. Enjoy – Ken
