Wine Review: This opaque dark purple wine was a hit with the tasting panel at a recent mini tasting that we held. This wine opens with a very inviting peppermint and plum like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is quite silky and smooth. It displays very jammy black current like flavors with notes of dry blackberries and vanilla as well. The finish is dry, and lingers slightly. The panel thought this wine would pair perfectly with some Memphis styled ribs or a pepper encrusted steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Aged 16 month in new French oak, our carnivalistic blend of Petite Sirah aand Petite Verdot is definately the star of the show. Trunk fulls of blueberry, plum, violet, and chalky tannins give a seemless finish to this jumbo sized offering.
