Wine Review: This very dark purple wine really caught our attention as we served it to friends at Jimmy’s Café in Wellesley, MA. Jimmy’s allows you to bring your own wine and this wine stole the show that night. This interesting blend opens with a very inviting blueberry jam like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is smooth, balanced, and displays lush, juicy, and concentrated blueberry jam like flavors. For a blueberry lover like me, this wine was delightful. The finish was quite dry with lingering tannins that drift along nicely. This savory wine was a nice complement to my brown sugar encrusted sliced filet steak. I really enjoyed this wine and I am certain you will as well. Cheers – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Sophisticated Malbec based blend complimented with Petite Verdot and Tannat. It is a strong and elegant wine with intense color, rich berry aromas and delicate spicy hints. Modern and harmonious, this full bodied wine caresses the palate intensely, leaving a subtle yet persistent vanilla aftertaste.
