Wine Review: This very dark purple wine is almost black in color. It opens with a very inviting blueberry like bouquet with a hint on menthol. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is very smooth with lush and juicy spicy blueberry flavors. There are hints of oak and mocha as well. The finish is quite dry and shows some tingly tannins that linger for some time. This wine would pair nicely with some Memphis styled barbecue ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Dark and deep red. Bouquet: Rich notes of complex currant, spice, wild berry, and plum with a touch of vanilla and mocha for dimension. Taste: Medium bodied with black-cherry flavors, followed by bittersweet chocolate and spice. Complexity develops out of its firm, quiet and supple core.
