Wine Review: This was the first time I had the chance to try some wines from Amity. This Pinot Noir struck me as the standout in their portfolio at the NY Wine Expo. This dark cherry colored wine opens with a raspberry like bouquet. On the palate, this light to medium bodied wine is very smooth, well balanced, and has very tasty cherry flavors. This wine is very easy to drink. The finish is dry and has slight tannins that linger a bit. This is a terrific food wine that is intended to be consumed soon. It would pair perfectly with grilled salmon or roasted pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A complex nose with aromas of black cherry & raspberry, mixed with notes of earth & spice, leads into a smooth, soft wine.
