Wine Review: We recently went to Legal Sea Foods for a business dinner. We opened the evening with this every enjoyable Pinot Gris from Bethel Heights. This light yellow wine opens with a very aromatic honeydew melon and pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is initially lively, nicely balanced, with very tasty citrus and pear like flavors with notes of minerality. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This wine paired very well with my clam chowder and halibut with crabmeat stuffing. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich aromas of peach, apple, tropical fruits, hints of orange zest. On the palate citrus gives way to stone fruits, and firm acidity provides balance and a crisp, dry finish.
