Wine Review: For me, year in and year out this is my favorite single vineyard option produced by winemaker, Doug Beckett from Peachy Canyon. This dark ruby colored wine opens with a spicy blackberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is Zin heaven. It is smooth as silk, really well balanced, and displays delicious blackberry flavors. The finish is quite dry and shows nicely integrated tannins that linger. I can’t say enough about this delicious wine. Pair with a filet mignon and savor it. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: If Zinfandel can be described as elegant this would be the perfect description. This wine must have been finessed into the bottle. Loads of cherries, strawberries and mild spice fill the palate. Along with blueberry, cinnamon, black currant and sage brush aromas. Delicious!
