Wine Review: Each time we have tried this wine over that last couple of years it has preformed nicely. This year at the Boston Wine Expo we had a chance to try the 2004 vintage. This dark ruby wine opens with an inviting cherry like bouquet with hints of Ecalyptus. On the palate, this wine is round, shows no hard edges, and displays dark chocolate and sour cherry like flavors. The finish is quite dry and has noticeable tannins that linger for some time. This wine is still a baby and should spend another 2-4 years in your cellar. I predict that this wine will be quite delightful at that time. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The nose starts off with dark, jammy fruits, cedar wood spice, clove and toasted marshmallow. Bright cherry fruit on the entry with notes of dark cocoa. Smooth, lingering tannins lead to a rich, silky finish. Will age nicely for the next 5-7 years.
