Wine Review: This very dark ruby red wine seems to be a consistent performer. This year we had a chance to try it at the Boston Wine Expo. It opens with a very attractive blueberry like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, has a dry mouthfeel, and juicy black raspberry favors with some spiciness. The finish is very dry, a touch acidic, and has long lingering tannins. I would really enjoy this wine with grilled barbeque steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Purple red with deep violet tones. Bouquet: Berry fruits, plum jam, coffee and tobacco notes. Taste: Elegant and powerful on the palate with velvety tannins.
