Wine Review: White Oak always has a nice lineup at the Boston Wine Expo. This year the Merlot was my favorite. This ruby red wine opens with a pleasant light blueberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is well balance round, creamy, and has delightful black cherry like flavors. The finish is quite dry, has soft tannins, and a very prolonged finish. This wine would be a fine complement to filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark, rich and chocolaty, with layers of mouth-coating mocha, currant, blackberry and coffee grounds, revealing extra dimensions of depth and complexity. Rich and supple, with well-integrated tannins.
