Wine Review: I am certain that Dry Rosé wine are on the verge of taking off in this country and Elk Cove has a very nice effort. This wine is a pretty rose colored wine. It opens with a pleasant light strawberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is round, juicy, crisp, and has pleasant light strawberry flavors. The finish is dry, refreshing, and a bit brief. This is a nice porch or pool wine for this summer. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2006 Elk Cove Vineyards Pinot Noir Rosé is what springtime is all about; clean, fragrant and showing freshness with sweet, red strawberry fruit! Enjoy this crisp, light, simply refreshing wine all by itself on a warm sunny day or pair it with succulent shellfish or roast chicken. Bon appétit!
