Wine Review: This is a Merlot to make everyone forget about that silly movie. Winemaker Randy Ullom does a wonderful job with the fruit from the Jackson Park Vineyard every year. This very dark red wine opens with an inviting mild plum like bouquet. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine is well balanced, very smooth, and elegant. The mouthfeel of the wine is dry and it display red cherry flavors. The finish is quite dry and has noticeable fine tannins that linger for quite a while. This is a perfect example of fine Merlot. If you like Merlot, you should really seek out a bottle. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich and round, with ripe plum, cooked cherries and chocolate flavors. Medium-bodied with a lingering finish.
