Wine Review: Wow! This wine is a steal when you consider the price vs. the quality. This wine is one to tell all your friends about. The wine is opaque dark purple in color. It opens with a beautiful cassis like bouquet. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine is beautiful, elegant, has a dry mouthfeel, and has wonderful blackberry flavors with of cassis. The finish is very dry, has soft tannins that sail on and on for a tremendously long time. This distinguished wine is worth every penny and probably more. You should enjoy it with the finest filet mignon that you can find. Cheers – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Inky-dark purple color. Deeply aromatic, blue and black fruit, mineral notes. Well extracted, richly layered, with chewy tannins and a luscious long finish. Also, the Mount Veeder region produces Cabernet berries that are abnormally small, resulting in intense concentrated flavors. The mountain’s volcanic vineyard signature is the hallmark of this wine.
