Wine Review: This Unoaked Chardonnay from South Africa is very fruit driven and tasty. This yellow gold wine opens with a very aromatic sweet ripe pear like bouquet. On the palate, the wine is round, a touch tart, and displays loads of tropical fruit salad flavors with pineapple being the most prominent fruit. The finish is dry, a bit tingly, and fades quickly. This wine would pair very nicely with a hearty seafood dish. We think something like a seafood casserole with scallops, shrimp, and lobster with a sherry garlic butter sauce would go perfectly. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A pleasant, well-textured chardonnay with a seductive roundness, floral aromas and flavors of pears and peaches that fill the mid-palate and finishes with clean, long lines.
