Wine Review: This ruby red wine is a consistent performer every vintage it seems. This year is no exception. This wine opens with a very pleasant plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is smooth, well balanced, with dusty black cherry like flavors. The finish is dry and slightly tannic and quite lengthy. Enjoy this crowd pleasing wine with some succulent barbecue ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Collage of Northern Sonoma’s Zinfandel landscape blending Dry Creek Valley’s briary raspberry fruit with Alexander Valley’s lush, dark berry fruit. Berry Patch essence – raspberry/blackberry flavors enhanced by Zin’s briary/very slightly black pepper character. Juicy acidity adds vibrancy while fine-grained tannins add depth and balance Barrel aging contributes anise/clove tones and structural richness - Ted Seghesio
