Wine Review: Wild Thing from Carol Shelton has made our list for several vintages now. This ruby red wine opens with a jammy black current bouquet and shows a touch of eucalyptus and heat. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, juicy, chewy, and has dusty black cherry and current flavors with a dash of pepper. The finish is quite dry and a bit tannic. The panel felt this wine would pair nicely with barbeque ribs or beef bourguignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Intensely jammy, black razzberry fruit, vibrant and alive in both nose and mouth, nice hit of black pepper. Smoothly textured in mouth, creamy vanilla oak, and the finish is long and lushly jammy fruit–dangerously good!
