Wine Review: This ruby red wine finished 4th in our recent blind tasting of Zins. It opens with a big spicy and dense blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine fully expresses a classic Zinfandel style. It has good balance, a soft mouthfeel, and was smooth. The flavor profile is cherry with dashes of cinnamon and pepper. The finish is dry, dusty, and has light tannins. The panel felt this wine was quite versatile and food friendly would go very well with turkey or venison. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Ripe red berry-wild cherry fruit, vanilla-caramel oak, Fragrant Asian spices–Chinese 5-spice, white pepper and saffron. Very smooth and nicely structured, long creamy finish.
