Wine Review: Dry Rosé wines are becoming increasingly popular. This tasty one from Fritz shows that CA can make really good and tasty dry Rosé wines. This pinkish orange colored wine opens with a fresh light watermelon like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is well balanced, refreshing, very easy to drink and enjoyable. The flavor profile is light strawberry with a touch of citrus. The finish is dry, and has really good length for a Rosé. This wine is very versatile and would match very well with many foods. Pork tenderloin with an apple compote comes to mind. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Light salmon pink. Floral (rose) mixed with peach and strawberry. Round and soft yet crisp & refreshing. I’ve had this wine with salmon, chicken and Mexican food as well as Thai food in Bangkok. This should not stop you from drinking it on it’s own with a little chill.
