Wine Review: This refreshing Riesling has a light yellow color with tinges of green and displays a lovely, aromatic nose of candied citrus as well as hints of spice and floral notes. Flavors of candied lemon and lime take the lead on the palate with petrol, subtle spice and spring flowers all showing in the mix. Nice and dry, this medium-bodied wine shows great balance as the acidity is crisp, but not overly tart and the flavors are surprisingly multi-dimensional for a "value" wine. This would be a great alternative to a Sauvignon Blanc as it carries all the citrus, but with a softer punch. I particularly love a dry Riesling of this style with lighter seafood fare such as sea scallops and shrimp. A great drink for the money! Enjoy - Kara
Winemaker Notes: Delicate pale lemon with green tints. Bouquet: Lifted spicy floral aromatics and strong lime notes. Palate: A beautifully fresh zippy wine with good weight on the middle palate suggesting that after some time in the bottle it will develop honey characters. It is a zesty clean wine showing the wonderful crisp mineral acidity typical of top Eden Valley Riesling.
