Wine Review: I recently tried this wine with a couple of my tasting panel members. We felt this almost black wine shows the more refined side of Malbec. This wine opens with a moderate dark berry bouquet with hints of cranberry. On the palate, the wine is smooth, well balanced, and had concentrated and rich dusty black current flavors with hints of plum. The finish is very dry, brief, and has a touch of oak. This wine is quite versatile given its smoothness and would pair well with steak, but also do nicely with veal medallions in a brown sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark dress, purplished, with the brilliant reflections. Black fruits and of subtle wooded. Complex, long, rich and balanced mouth. Can be drunk young carafed on its fruit, but it is made to be layed down.
