Wine Review: Grand Cru Beaujolais are some of the best values out there. Duboeuf continues to deliver very good wines in this space. This dark ruby wine opens with a light raspberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is soft, well balanced, not complex, juicy, and has strawberry like flavors with hints of cherry. The finish is dry and nicely prolonged with fine tannins. This very tasty bistro wine would be a perfect wine with a gourmet burger with sautéed mushrooms and Swiss. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The color is a nice ruby with purple reflections. The nose displays great complexity with fruity and floral notes. There is good tannic structure with a good volume in the mouth. The Fleurie has a very harmonious finish for a wine with a lot of character.
