Wine Review: This brilliant violet like wine opens with a forward leather and wood like bouquet that covers it black fruits. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round and pretty easy to drink. It has dusty cherry like flavors. The finish is quite dry and slightly extended. I was a bit on the fence about this wine so I had some panel members try it that like this old world style. We are recommending it as a good value wine that is tasty and would go well with a grilled burger or ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pannotia Malbec has an intense ruby color with aromas of fresh red and black cherries, blueberries and a hint of chocolate. This full-bodied wine is rich with ripe fruit, lush tannins and a good amount of sweet oak. It has flavors of plums, berries, black currant and hints of pepper with a long supple finish.
