Wine Review: This light yellow wine opens with a pleasant pear like bouquet with hints of roses. On the palate, this light to medium bodied wine is well balanced, a bit viscous, and displays light pineapple and anise like flavors. The finish is dry and subtle. The panel would pair this wine with shrimp scampi, roasted chicken with thyme and squash soup. Cheers - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The color is a lively light gold, which is the perfect prelude to the bright, fresh personality of our 2006 Pinot Gris. The aromas of sweet grapefruit and green apples mingle with touches of vanilla and caramel. Crisp and stimulating on the palate with highlights of kiwi, Meyer lemon and a touch of crème brulee followed by a stony, mineral tang that leads into a bracing, mouthwatering finish. We recommend drinking this wine young so you don’t miss any of its enticing freshness.
