Wine Review: This wine is consistently a favorite of ours every year. This year it finished 2nd overall in our recent blind tasting of white wines. It was our favorite Gewürtztraminer. This light yellow wine opens with an appealing classic Gewürtz bouquet featuring lychee aromas with hints of honey. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is smooth, has some crispy acidity, and shows some lime and apricot like flavors. The finish is dry and subtle. The panel would match this wine with Salmon or Asian food. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Classic aromas of lychee, orange blossom and spice leap from this dry, Alsatian-style Gewiirztraminer. Ripe, round fruit flavors of white pear, lychee, tangerine and kumquat arelifted by the bright, focused structure into a lingering spicy finish. Enjoy Gewurztraminer asan apertif, or pair with a wide variety of cuisine including Indian, Chinese and Thai, and the classic pairing of roast turkey and ham.
