Wine Review: As dry Rosés increase in popularity, we like to let you know about all the Very Good ones we discover. This Italian Rosé was a recent discovery for us at the Newport Wine Festival. This orangish red wine has an appealing fresh strawberry like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is dry, round, a touch acidic, and has pleasant light spicy raspberry like flavors with hints of cranberry. The finish is dry, clean, refreshing, and lingers for a bit. This is a nice food wine that will pair well with many foods. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep cherry red with ruby notes. Full, clean aroma with fragrance of raspberries and freshly picked strawberries and a touch of vanilla. Fresh, vivacious, light vanilla note, reminiscent of blackberry and currant slight acid sensation with excellent slight herbaceous finish.Medium life wine, it expresses its best in the first 2-3 years.
