Wine Review: This wine is one of the best Aussie Shiraz’s I have tried so far. This really dark cranberry colored wine opens with a wonderful spicy black current bouquet. On the palate, this wine is very well balanced, tremendously smooth and packed with black current flavors with hints of blackberry. This wine has an extremely lengthy finish which just completely won me over. It sails on and on. This bottle of wine did not last very long as it called for several follow up glasses. This wine is a steal for $40 or less. This wine would pair very well with a steak or just savor it on its own. Aussie Shiraz lovers should buy every bottle they can find. This gem won’t last long on your retailers’ shelves. Cheers - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Colour: Dense ruby purple Nose: Youthful blackberry, blueberry fruit complexed with savoury French oak Palate: Rich and generous with good concentration of dark fruit. Tannins are fine, ripe and balanced. The structure has restrained power but remains elegant and finishes with excellent fruit intensity.
