Wine Review: This light yellow wine opens with a perfumed light citrus like bouquet with hints of minerality. On the palate, this wine is clean, has terrific pear and mineral like flavors with some citrus influences as well. The finish is dry, a touch tangy, and slightly extended. This wine will be prefect match with sole with a lemon butter sauce. Pinot Grigio is very popular these days. Wines like this Pinot Grigio from Swanson will keep that trend going forward. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: "Crafted from several carefully selected clones, this wine is Italian in its crisp, refreshing style and evokes Alsace in its round mouth feel. Lychee, grapefruit, lemon zest, pear and peach aromas echo on the palate, evoking the essence of fresh, perfectly ripe Pinot Grigio grapes. Remarkably versatile, this wine is sensational as an aperitif, as an accompaniment to cheese, white wine-friendly and Mediterranean cuisines."
