Wine Review: This black cherry colored wine opens with a forward spicy black berry like bouquet. On the palate, the wine is round, lively, and has forward dusty blackberry like flavors. The finish is dry and lingers for some time. I would match this wine with Memphis styled BBQ ribs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Heinrich comprises 45% Shiraz, 35% Grenache, and 20% Mataro. The Heinrich Shiraz is off the gravely loam and red brown earth vineyards of Veritas and from the growers Hearnden and Kalleske. The Mataro is solely estate grown on sand, with the Grenache coming from the Western Ridge Vineyard sandy loam, and the grower Hearnden’s bush vines.
