Wine Review: I tasted this wine with a few of my Syrah loving panel members. It received several thumbs up and accolades. This dark purple wine opens with a mild ripe plum like bouquet with hints of menthol. On the palate, this full bodied wine enters the mouth smoothly and then offers impressive spicy licorice flavors with blackberry and blueberry influences. This wine is very easy to drink. The finish is quite dry and lingers for a bit. This tasty wine would match perfectly with pork tenderloin with a rosemary brown sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Plum and berry fruit, spice and creamy oak on the nose. In the mouth... red stone fruit and strawberry laced with spice and gripping tannins. Long on the palate with a seductive toasty oak and creme brulee finish. A blend of the Kiler Canyon Vineyard and the Lock Vineyard. Classic Westside Paso. This wine will make your toes curl!
