Wine Review: If you like red wine that is influenced by oak, here is a wine you will really enjoy. This dark purple wine opens with a very earthy, truffle, and old leather like bouquet. On the palate, the wine is smooth, a bit lively, and fruit forward. Blueberries and cherries are present with an overlay of toasty oak. The finish is dry, woody, has no hard edges, and has some length. This wine would accompany a sirloin steak sandwich perfectly. If you like this style of wine your will truly be rewarded. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rose petals, plum and blueberry fruits. Acidity is frisky and well integrated to bring freshness to the front of this elegant Bordeaux right bank style wine. Soft, firm well rounded tannins are integrated with delicate notes of cinnamon and the first impression is very much that of a Merlot.
