Wine Review: This ruby red wine opens with a restrained spicy black fruit bouquet with hints of mild oak. On the palate, this wine is a bit thin and acidic. The flavor profile is juicy cherry with a hint of plum. The finish is dry and has some oaky tannins. This wine would make a nice glass pour. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bretón’s mature low-yielding estate vineyards give fruit with concentrated extract and acidity. Aged 19 months in oak and a further 12 in bottle prior to release, developing silkiness with bottle age. Bouquet of ripe red fruit is well integrated with toasty/balsamic notes.
