Wine Review: This black cherry red wine opens with a very inviting perfumed licorice and blackberry bouquet. It also has a touch of heat on the nose. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine displays up front cherry fruit flavors and hints of tobacco. This wine is lively, a bit acidic, juicy, and quite ripe. It would pair well with a red sauce based pasta meal, ribs, or a spicy meatloaf. On the finish, the fruit flavors linger, it’s a bit dusty, dry, and has nice length. Overall, this is a tasty wine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is a great wine with very soft tannins and a lot of fruit up front.
