Wine Review: This was my favorite wine from our High End blind wine tasting. Our panel placed it 3rd with a score of 93.56 or Very Good+. This opaque dark purple wine opens with an inviting black cherry and black current like bouquet with hints of vanilla. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine is perfectly balanced, ultra silky, and has delicious plum and blackberry flavors. The finish is dry, has very fine tannins, and is extremely lengthy. I would pair this wine with anything, but the panel also suggested roast beef or a NY Strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Intense cherry, blackberry and baking spice aromas and flavors are woven throughout layers of ripe tannins resulting in a full bodied Merlot with a great concentration of flavors and richness that carry across a lengthy finish.
