Wine Review: This very refined Merlot from Napa finished in 3rd place in our most recent Merlot blind tasting. This brick red wine opens with a pleasant spicy bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is smooth as silk, exceptionally well balanced, and has delicious blueberry and cherry flavors. This wine is refined and elegant. The finish is dry and very persistent. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: "This is both a serious and a jovial wine at the same time. The dark color leads one to taste the rich, chocolate covered black cherries and blackberry jam. The sensations on the palate are velvety, with fine tannins and a long finish with a cherry cider tartness leaving your palate refreshed and craving more. Sound complex? It is!" – Burgess Cellars
