Wine Review: With the popularity Rosé wines growing, I thought I would seek out another one to recommend for the summer. I came across this one from South Africa. I was intrigued by the fact that it was made from Cabernet Sauvignon, which is not typical. This very attractive wine is a deep rose colored wine. On the palate, this wine has a nice green apple and grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is round, slightly acidic, a touch tart, and expresses some lively strawberry like flavors. This wine will match very well with bacon wrapped shrimp off the grill. The finish is nicely dry, lingers a while, and is quite refreshing. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A brilliant, lively, clear wine, strawberry in colour. A complex nose, but the aromas are mainly in the rose petal, strawberry and cherry spectrum. A dry lingering palate of pomegranate and berry fruits fills your mouth.
