Wine Review: This wine is consistently good every year, but this year it might be even better than in the past. This ruby red wine opens with a mild raspberry like bouquet with hints of chocolate and beets. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, really easy to drink, but is not overly complex. It has tasty cherry like flavors with hints of light oak and current. The finish is pretty dry, mildly tannic, and lingers for quite a while. This is a very friendly food wine that will complement many foods from a gourmet burger to ribs. This is a perfect glass pour wine given the price. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: "This complex artisan wine is produced using various barrel types and varietals to offer classic Merlot spice, ripe cherry fruit, and cocoa aromatics which persist on the palate. The balance of wood and black fruits creates a velvety, seductive finish." - Ray Einberger, Winemaker
