Wine Review: This dark purple wine opens with a mild berry bouquet. On the palate, the wine is rich, nicely concentrated and has a good mouthfeel. The wine calls for a big steak off the grill. The finish is dry and nicely prolonged. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Estate Syrah displays classic varietal aromas of ripe black plum, blackberry and currant fruit with hints of violets, pepper spice, vanilla cream and a subtle roasted meat tone. Its deeply extracted black fruit flavors are complemented by savory spice and black licorice tones that add a zesty note to the wine’s long, rich finish. Enjoy this robust red now with hearty fare or age it another 3-4 years to fully develop it rich, complex flavors.
