Wine Review: This dark red wine from Virginia is a serious wine for all you old world fans! The bouquet of this wine is a bit musty and distinctively old world in style. On the palate, the wine is round, dry, and has a touch of oak influenced flavors. The finish is dry and displays characteristics of Bordeaux styled wines. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The massive tannin structure is tamed by extended aging in French oak barrels. Dark in color with a superb aroma of plum, cassis and tobacco, its complex flavors are well integrated with a silky finish.
