Wine Review: This light yellow wine has a light steely bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is very well balanced. This wine has very good fruit flavors, some acidity which was a very different style compared to many of the Rieslings we tried. However, this is typical of the Clare region. Many thought it was Sauvignon Blanc like in style. The finish is dry and nicely prolonged. Several thought with would match well with Caesar salad and a pasta dish with a white sauce. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Knappstein Hand Picked Riesling, consistently rated amongst Australia's finest, has a spine of lime citrus typical of Clare Riesling and floral notes attributable to the location of the vineyard in the Watervale area.
