Wine Review: This wine recently won a blind tasting of High End wines that we conducted. This wine stood out for its "Poetry to the Panel." This opaque dark red wine opens with a lovely and inviting crème de cassis and blackberry like bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine is smooth, perfectly balanced, and nicely integrated. It displays dusty black current like flavors. The finish is dry, shows fine tannins, and nice length. The panel thought this very solid effort will pair very nicely with filet mignon or a ribeye. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Dark, intense ruby color. Wonderful aromas of ripe berries are followed by the concentrated flavors of black currant, black cherry, hints of mocha and a touch of spice. The deep flavors expand during an extremely long finish, rounded out by a full-bodied mouth feel and velvety tannins.
