Wine Review: This wine opens up with a pungent barnyard aroma on the nose. Very Old World. On the palate, the wine is very fruit forward and tasty. It is medium bodied, well balanced, and distinctive. This will match well with food. The finish is slightly dry. I would decant the wine for a few minutes just to release settle the bouquet. Enjoy the food friendly wine. – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2003 Pinot Noir, Has smoky aromas of wild strawberry and ripe plum; combined with subtle notes of citrus blossom, earth, and sweet vanilla. The mouth is broad and silky - layered with bright flavors of cranberry, rhubarb, cherry, and toasted oak. Balanced acidity and delicate tannins focus the palate and provide a lingering finish of fruit and spice.
