Wine Review: While at the Boston Wine Expo, I came across this Zinfandel from a new winery for me. This wine has a nice pleasant bouquet. On the palate, the wine is smooth, nicely flavored, and elegant. If you are looking for nice food friendly Zinfandel this is the one. The finish is slightly dry and prolonged. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Blackberry, cassis and spice leap from the glass. Smoky oak and black pepper fill in the ample aromas. The texture is rich and supple with the berry and cassis flavors leading to a full finish. All that you could ever expect from an "Old Vine Zin". This wine will make an excellent accompaniment to all hardier cuisines and barbeque.
