Wine Review: I love well made Petite Sirah and this one takes the prize as the Best of Show for this years Boston Wine Expo. This rich purple colored wine has a very inviting bouquet that expresses a touch of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is smooth as silk and very nicely balanced. The finish is nicely dry and extends nicely as well. I really liked this wine. Ken
Winemaker Notes: Up front blueberry syrup, black cherry and coffee bean shake up the senses, finishing with warm cigar box cedar and vanillan flavors. Brawny, solid tannins send aftershocks down the throat creating a seemingly endless finish. When all is said and done this Petite Sirah leaves its mark of destruction, leaving teeth and glasses stained of its inky dark color.
