Wine Review: This wine was sampled by several folks recently and deemed to be the best wine of the evening. This wine has a very nice aromatic blackberry bouquet. On the palate, the wine is very flavorful, intense, and very rich. The finish is very very lengthy and quite dry. This Syrah from Laetitia will appeal to those who like very good Aussie Shiraz. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep and dark plum in color, this cool climate Syrah offers an ideal combination of fruit and spice. A smooth wine with firm yet polished tannins and a lively blend of deep and long berry flavors, pepper, a twist of anise, and fresh acid. Finishes long, with echoes of black pepper that gracefully linger, joined by a touch of chocolate and raspberry.
