Wine Review: Andy Wilcox was in town for the Boston Wine Expo showing his new wines. This wine impressed me as one that all Chardonnay lovers would like. I called it the 50/50 wine. Its flavor profile drove right down the middle of field. On the nose, this wine offers a big fruit boosted bouquet and also has a touch of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is very nicely balanced with very good fruit flavors and quite is clean. The finish is slightly creamy and delightful. This would be a nice wine to enjoy with halibut. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This classic barrel fermented Chardonnay is balanced and clean with complex aromatics and a crisp lingering finish. The wine has completed malolactic fermentation yielding richness while retaining a ripe fruit impression on the palate. Accented by sweet oak, this wine has hints of pear and butterscotch giving it a smooth yet rich mouthfeel.
