Wine Review: This wine has a very big and expressive bouquet. It smells a bit like vanilla and it tingles the nose. On the palate, the medium bodied wine is acidic and has a touch of creaminess. Due to its acidity this wine would be a good match for spicy foods. The finish is dry and a tad long. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Silky and full bodied, the 2005 Chardonnay is rich mélange of pear, melon, and pippin apple flavors woven with crisp citrus overtones. Complex layers of toasty oak and distinct minerality make their way to the fore, following the initial fruit impressions. Elegant and multilayered, the plush fruit flavors lead into a long, luxurious, finish with hints of peach and apricot.
