Wine Review: This wine opens with a big fruit forward bouquet. On the palate, this wine is quite tasty and expresses its fruit. The wine has plenty of acidity and the balance is good. The finish is quite dry and fairly extended. We enjoyed this wine on its own, however it would pair nicely with a steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark crimson in color, this wine is riper than past offerings. It has plumbly, jammy blackberry fruit in the nose with hints of black tea and spice, imparted by the Petite Verdot and Malbec. There are inviting mocha and vanilla aromas due to the oak regime, and the finish is long and berry-laden. It definitely has more "muscle" than in the past, but maintains its elegance. This wine is enjoyable now, but it is built to last. Taste the soul of Sonoma in Secolo!
