Wine Review: This wine has a big grapefruit nose. On the palate, the wine expresses papaya flavors. I enjoyed this wine. Ken

Winemaker Notes: The stainless steel portion of the 2005 Sauvignon Blanc adds a crisp acidity, and the barrel fermented portion gives the wine its richness and earthiness. The exotic flavors of citrus fruits and candied ginger were present in the ripe fruit at harvest. The finished blend is more proof that Sauvignon Blanc is so well suited to Long Island.
