Wine Review: This is one of the few Merlots that I found high praise for in my recent trip to Long Island. The bouquet of this wine was mild. On the palate, this wine was nicely balanced and flavorful. The wine finishes nicely and has some length. This would be a very good food wine to enhance and Italian dinner. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Its dark ruby hues hint at the strawberry and plum aromas. On the palete, the wine offers a myriad of impressions; including black cherry, anise, spice box, and dark chocolate. This is a rich wine, with soft tannins but good structure, a full body, and a long finish. The wine is still evolving, and will continue to do so for years.
