Wine Review: This wine opens with a pleasant pronounced cassis like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, extraordinarily well balanced, and smooth. It has terrific and lively black current flavors with hints of licorice and black cherry. The finish is dry and lingers nicely for some time. This wine paired perfectly with my filet mignon and was enjoyed by all at our dinner at Grill 23 in Boston, MA.. Enjoy – We did! Ken
Winemaker Notes: The bountiful Cabernet Sauvignon harvest of 2004 in Stags Leap District gave us a wine rich with chewy, dark fruit, cedar, chocolate, juicy blackberry and tobacco with a long, lingering finish.
